SIGNIFICANT reduction in the amount of cancer! We’re doing one more round of chemo to save some lymph nodes- overall everyone is pleased! Hoping to do her wish before surgery- although after yesterday I’m not sure we can top that!Read More
4 Years ago today, a beautiful little Angel was born. She didn’t have a perfect landing – but she landed and brought joy into everyone’s lives. Today we’re hoping for another landing – it doesn’t have to be perfect…just hopeful. Results are in, and we’ll have them later today.
A HUGE thank you to the Fairfield Fire Department Essex County N.J. who have organized a “Boot Drive” for Angelina. They’ll be positioned across Fairfield, and at the Walgreens Shopping Center on Rt 46 West Bound. Thank you to the AMAZING members of the Fairfield Fire department (who are ALL volunteers) and welcome to Angelina’s Army!Read More
Everyone is texting and asking or messaging about Angelina – we sadly will not have any conclusive details from her scans until MONDAY. And I PROMISE that once we do, we will post something! So we’re hoping that for her Birthday she gets GREAT News! In the meantime, she’s happy, & feeling good despite her bone marrow biopsy and can’t wait to celebrate her Birthday with the Disney Princesses and Hug-A-Me the Clown!Read More
I am so excited! I am surprising Angelina with her favorite clown from the Hospital Hug-A-Me the Clown for her birthday! She’s an AMAZING face painter, and the kids just love her! She brings joy to so many children at the St. Barnabas Medical Center, and other hospitals. She’s new to facebook so please take a moment, go over and visit her page and click “like” – cause we really need more people like her in this world.Read More
For those who didn’t see News 12 New Jersey - here is the spot they ran last night on Sunrise Day Camp. Our Angelina (little girl, purple cupcake shirt, sunglasses, big floppy pink hat on/off) can be seen! They’re singing Happy Birthday toher and she’s riding in a paddle boat. I am SO thankful that they got to be there yesterday cause today is the start of the BIG scans. This morning at 11:30 am, Angelina will have her MRI to see if we have been able to drive the tumors out of her spine. Then tomorrow she’ll undergo an MIGB (a nuclear test that attaches itself to ONLY cancer cells). In her first studies, cancer was found all along the vertebrate in her spinal column, and in every part of her body – the only area NOT glowing with cancer were her cheek bones...Read More
I took Angelina to the parent night at Sunrise Day Camp in Pearl River, NY last night. We had a blast. Tomorrow is her MRI, and Friday we do her MIGB (nuclear scan that shows ALL the cancer cells in her body). Based on how Angelina is FEELING, we are confident that treatment has made major headway and that the main tumor is finally operable. We need everyone to cross their fingers, pray, send energy…whatever it is that you do we need your help. We were hoping not to get these results until after her Make-a-Wish but with her illness last week…we’re praying it’s good news. This weekend is her Birthday….let’s give her the best gift ever…to win the war against cancer.Read More
