Scan results are in- no change. After 4 cycles of antibody and accutane, the cancer remains unchanged compared to the scans from December ’13 & January ’14. Looks like we are going to be continuing treatment.

PRAYERS today and all this week- Angelina is at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center today for an MRI. Tomorrow is her MiGB scan (that shows where the cancer is). Her last MRI and MiGB showed decreases in most areas except for one spot on her spine. We need that spot to react to avoid potentially more years (yes that’s YEARS) of treatment. And also pray that government funded research will someday raise the amount of funding they give childhood cancers from 3% to anything more than 3%. Too many kids need a cure!

What started with tears and fears ended with her refusing to get out! She absolutely loved it! Small victories show us we’re moving in the same direction!

Bad day yesterday- she had an allergic reaction to the treatment and was sneezing and coughing non-stop. She finally took some allergy meds and fell asleep. Day 3 and she said she didn’t want to go. Can’t honestly blame her. One more day in this cycle then she gets a break.

Today is day 1 of cycle 4 of 3F8. Please pray for Angelina as these treatments can be painful (neuroblastoma is a nerve cancer). In the next two weeks we will be doing all of our scans- MiGB, CT, MRI, and bone marrow biopsy. We did them in December at Newark Beth and again in January when we switched to MSKCC. Our last scan still Showed active Disease- praying this one is clear or at least that the disease shrank.
