So excited to have company today! She’s so thrilled to be out of the hospital, and we have to go get new crocs cause we apparently lost one in the emergency room (oops).

Guess who is going home? After talking with the pulmonary specialist, we all agreed that the nodules were small, and the biopsy might not yield much. So we’re going home on antifungal meds and will come back the 17th to recheck them. Next round of chemo officially starts August 19th! We’re rainbow dashing out of here! Thank you for your prayers, your support and your love. We 💖you all! 😘 #smallvictories #goinghomebeforetheychangetheirminds #cancersucks

So, we’re STILL in the hospital. Thankfully her fevers have stopped. After a stressful week of low blood counts we have finally begun to see a slight return in her white count. They did a C.t. yesterday and found some nodules in her lungs. Today they are going to biopsy them. Fingers crossed they’re scar tissue from a fungal infection she had two years ago and we go home. Worst case is it’s new fungus and she starts an antifungal. Thank you everyone who has posted, shared, stopped by and helped during this hospital stay. Being in the hospital on and off for 3 weeks isn’t easy, and your support has made it a little easier. Hopefully she gets to come home for a few days before we start her next round of chemo. We’ll keep you posted.

Stressful IV change, and a 7minute Workout in our room means mommy needs to wash her clothes. Thanks to the nurses who found me this Nicole Miller outfit to wear. #cancerparentissues #cancersucks #nursesrock

So disappointed, we were hoping to avoid post chemo fevers and hospital stays but this chemo is very intense so that was probably unrealistic. Angelina is in the hospital with 103 degree fever. They’re running tests and giving antibiotics. Prayers are needed! Depending how long she’s in, we may begin to post meals and childcare on our hands page. Please pray!
